Read-only mode
Turn Whaleboard into a pure portfolio viewer with no transaction actions.
Read-only mode hides every button that could start a transaction, so Whaleboard becomes a pure portfolio viewer. Your balances, staking positions and rewards are still shown as usual.
Turning it on
Open Settings (gear icon) and, under Display, switch on Read-only mode. The change applies immediately and is remembered between visits.
What gets hidden
- Claim all and per-chain Claim buttons
- Manage stake and per-chain Manage buttons
- Stake, Redelegate, Unstake and Withdraw actions
As an extra safeguard, Whaleboard also checks the setting right before sending any transaction, so nothing can be signed while read-only mode is on — even from a dialog that was already open.
Watched addresses are always read-only
When you watch an address instead of connecting a wallet, that ecosystem is read-only automatically, whatever the setting. For example, if you connect a Cosmos wallet and watch a Solana address, you can still manage your Cosmos stake, but Solana actions are hidden.
